This kit is specifically engineered for those who don't have the time or machinery to fabricate their own, seeking to significantly increase power and torque. Every thing was fine and fit as expected but the U-bolts. They were the correct diameter to fit around the axle but were not long enough to reach through the frame. I took one with me to the auto parts store to purchase some longer ones. I found the exact same UBolt in the exhaust clamps. The guy behind the counter recommend an actual axle U-Bolt for my application. I took his advice. I emailed vegas carts. They asked for pictures. I sent them pictures. I never heard from them again.
This was a fun project, instructions could have been better on the spring changes for the clutches, but other than that piece of cake. The mikuni carb is the way to go!
Great kit, metal fab work is clean and sturdy. Only thing I’d suggest is including a throttle cable that is longer than the stock club car cable and maybe a better attachment option on the motor.
Overall everything fit and works as advertised.
Very nice kit. Everything fit. Predator Motor has plenty of power and the power band is smooth. If I can find another cart with a bad motor would definitely purchase again…
All and all it was a fairly straightforward kit I had to add A 3/16 aluminum shim under the engine plate to raise it to allow for full belt alignment. And instructions were not convenient to find on web sight.
Fast easy install with no issues. Everything fit perfectly and as described. I'm starting on my second Vegas Cart big block install. I look forward to building more carts in the future with parts from Vegas Cart.
Having this put together as a kit made it much easier and more inviting to take on the project. I’m still working on the other things I am doing on the cart but the engine is in and working. I probably would not have done this without the Vegas carts kit and directions.
Have not installed the kit yet but from looking over all the components, it seems like a very solid and well engineered kit. I look forward to installing it!
Everything fit perfect. The only thing I did different to the exhaust. I made a heat shield. I welded tabs on the exhaust and bolted the heat shield to the tabs. It works a lot better than the wrap. Thank you.
It was for me easy installation. Directions online were great. I really thought I would have time make modifications, but I didn't. Really well thought out.
Wrong kit returned no refund got offered another kit after I already got someone else to build it offered me another kit but wont give me a refund worst service have ever had
A very nice kit I did not use the predator engine though I used a Honda GX 670 that I had on the shelf had to do a few modifications, but it works great. Basically you have to modify how to attach the throttle cable and the muffler just a little bit.
Directions are not the best. Finally got the motor installed. I now have power, toque some speed but the gears now need changed to high speed gears. The Header puts off a lot of heat. I was told to get it fast, several days, it would be an upcharge of 200.00 to get it expedited. I passed and said I would just wait. It came in 4 days…. What a scam. Not sure I would do it again as of now
Very unprofessional on the phone wanted me to send pictures and talk about the problems on an email so that I could reverse engineer your guises screw ups kit one on very difficult had to modify everything, including the frame to make it work very very disappointed in your product fitting properly
I couldn’t find a phone no. To talk to someone but I took the chance anyway, the kit came pretty quick but I was changing from a 2003 electric to gas,they did provide me with a link to email so I was able to contact someone they don’t recommend doing that,well I was already into it for over 2,000$ so I had to find another frame for 250$ I’m almost through with it except for the throttle mechanism, don’t recommend it except for mechanical people it didn’t come with instructions & I didn’t have wi-fi
This Is our 3rd retrofit on club car carryall . Extreamly nice kit. Runs great when done . Would be nice to have a colum mount key switch box .
Looking forward to atbleast 2 more upgrades .
The parts are good, but the customer service was not a good experience. I called to ask about the part and certain things about the part and the guy was just very short and was not friendly at all. He actually wasted my time, so I would not recommend customer service, but the parts are fine.
Everything in my kit came in one box and it was a little banged up. Upon opening and inspecting the contents there was nothing damaged. Everything was carfully wrapped in bubble wrap and taped, it took awhile to get it all off. Every single peice in my kit was flawless normally I can find scuff marks from shipping. The kit was pretty easy to assemble using the online instructions and almost everything fit. There is a bracket called the anti sway bracket and mine is the new style, the holes were way off to my transaxle holes and there was just no way it was going to fit properly so I called CS and they wanted pictures and all that and told me it was good to go, so no real help there plan B was to use the generous flange space on the bracket to relocate some new holes. It worked out real nice and the engine is sitting completely level. and what the heck my golfcart does 35 and I like it. But to address the fact that I had to modify my $800 kit they get 4 stars
I was very impressed with the quality of this kit. The kit arrived quickly and was packaged to ensure everything arrived in perfect condition. The kit was easy to install and it was easy to follow the directions. While I installed the mounting bracket, my cycle shop took over from there and as been very impressed with the installation directions. Thank you for making our golf cart re-build a success. We cannot wait to finish the re-build next week.
I put it in a carryall and the throttle box would not fit . Waiting for a throttle cable to show up so I can complete the project. Everything else fit good, would’ve liked to have a copy of the directions so I didn’t have to keep looking it up on my phone.
The hardest part was getting the manual to download on our slooooow internet Other than that pretty straightforward. Impressed with power A little loud but it sounds good 😬
