I thought this was a rather great idea, but as a builder my self I would shorten the design and thickness as well. I know you're designing fits a 420 predator but also a Northern tool 420 as well. With a lift kit 6" as photo shows lift kit bracket rubs air box, but a K&N and elbow hose rubbed into. So theres not a lot of options in this case. Note: this was a 1990 Yamaha build. Overall solution was 3 star for me.

So far you have been very helpful I am doing this in the fall and getting what I need is challenging but so far it’s going well hopefully I will be done soon thanks

Air Filter Box

This is a well made filter setup. Unfortunately, this didn't fit my application. I used my own motor plate for a predator 459 and the air box would not clear the frame. My cart is a 94 EZGO and is also at stock height. It may work for your application.
