I bought an Amazon clutch. Lasted less than 2 yrs in the cart. I knew better than to nickle and dime with the parts that matter. Lesson learned, again. The new clutch from Vegas carts is smoother, completely disengages, and much quieter. Plus I picked up about 5 mph.
I converted my EZ-GO to a Honda gx630. I used Vegas Carts I purchase the engine adaptor plate, the heavy duty clutch, and belt. was very happy with the results. I would recommend.
420 swap on a 92 Yamaha G2. Clutch installed with no issues and had all hardware need for install. The clutch is fully engaged low - mid in the rpm range of my engine that still has the governor and pull like no one is riding. Would definitely buy another one.
John Deere HPX gator 4x4 Predator 22HP Motor install. Runs alot faster (40mph) than factory 18HP Kawasaki and no more start and carb issues. Do want to try rubber engine mounts to cut down on vibration. But all in all withe the CVtech06 clutch very happy with final outcome
Customer service answered questions before I made my purchase. The clutch shipped quickly, and bolted right up to my straight 1" keyed crankshaft. This clutch is just what I needed to bring my old re-powered ParCar with a 40 year old briggs back to life.
Bought a 10 hp diesel off eBay 1 cylinder fuel injected yanmar Cologne. Bolted right on engine plate I already bough, bolted clutch on and sent it! With a black smoke cloud behind me.
Unfortunately the clutch was very grabby right of the box, after a short drive, it blew apart. BUT: Vegas Carts was prompt in sending a replacement, and indicated it was just a defective clutch. My review should not be considered a reason not to purchase the clutch. Vegas Carts will always be my go to for my cart needs.
This clutch is awesome, point blank. I had a Comet in here before and had chatter and just a pain. Spoke with Geoff and got a CVTech super quick and it's like a whole new cart.
Super smooth now and much quieter.
I used this clutch on a Gator 550 SUV to replace original 16hp Briggs motor with a 22 hp Predator motor. Started with Comet clutch and could not get any low rpm end power. This clutch engages quick and takes off! Seems to top off at 25 mph, but I think I could adjust to get more.
No more jerky start ups-smooth.Cart has more power and is much faster.My wife won't ride around the yard with me.She says I have become a 70 year old speed demon maniac.Thank you so much for a quality product.
The clutch is fine.. The fact that Vegas Carts is basically a middleman sucks balls.. The new store in Jacksonville Fl, didn’t have anything in stock, or even a sales floor. It’s a package drop off in the worst side of Jax. They have a few things they may build with their CNC machine, but everything I needed came from Canada or China days later. I could get the same stuff on Amazon without the markup
Was exactly as described, we put this on a 11 hp briggs and stratton motor we installed in our golf cart and love they way it works. Cart is very fast and reliable.
The CV Tech drive clutch is a high quality piece, and it fits up nicely to the 440cc engine I purchased for my EZGO TXT. Will upload photos when I finish the swap. Currently waiting on last piece of the puzzle, the starter/generator pulley that sits behind the drive clutch next to engine.
